Not so unusual WR for Lenton by
DavidW
Don't worry. This thread won't drag on like the last (unfinished) Lenton WR
thread.
Libby Trickett (formerly Lenton) murders Britta Steffen's 100m freestyle WR
53.30s with 52.88s in the Aus. Olympic trials final.
No drafting here. They can't take this one off her.

Please send me your catalogs, brochures, magazine offers, and fliers by

Hey,
I'm a swimmer and all-around athletic guy who is interested in the
latest body-building and exercise equipment, and the latest toys and
accessories for exercising in the swimming pool. I also want to read
magazine articles that profile and compare these products.
I know I can probably...

Just How Much Pee Is In That Pool? by
Ralph Ellis
You know that sharp odor of chlorine from the swimming pool you
can recall from earliest childhood? It turns out it's not just
chlorine, but a potent brew of chemicals that form when chlorine
meets sweat, body oils, and urine.
But up until now, just how much urine has been difficult to...

Circuit Court Offenders by
John Kennerson
Why in the hell is an opinion from Judge James J. Lombardi's desk showing up
on the virtualcourthouse.info website when no other opinions/judgments from
this judge turn up in any internet searches?
It looks like this Judge James J. Lombardi intentionally and willfully retaliated
against the...

Weightlifting Workouts by
oneamous
Interesting thread, but I think generally that most people work out
way too much. Don't forget, muscles need rest to grow.
I would be interested to know how much did you work out when you just
stared your muscle building program?
Let me know...

hose adaptor advice wanted by
oneamous
After plumbing my deck I need to know what I can use to adapt from 1 1/2 OD
plastic pipe to the pump inlet and to the jet on the side of the pool. I
thought of radaitor hose. The pump, hoses and pool connectors seem to be a
non standard size (smaller than 1 1/2).

Tricks for keeping water out of fairly new goggles? by
[email protected]
I have a fairly expensive pair of Barracuda goggles. I only swim once or twice a week and not for long periods. The goggles kept water out initially. After 3-4 swims, however, I was not able to keep water out of the right side. Now, after probably thirty times, I can't keep water out of the left...

long torso, short legs by
GoodSwimFan
I read articles about Michael Phelps that say he has the ideal
swimmer's body, in particular, a long body with short legs. I'm
curious why a long body with short legs is supposed to be good.
My guess would be the opposite: that to excel in fly, you need longer
legs and a shorter body -- less...

simple set pool filter SA-3755 where do I get cartridges? by

I bought a Aqua leisure simple set 10' pool last summer from B&Q in the

filter cartridges for the SA-3755 filter/Pump. I have found one source
from amazon (currently out of stock) but the buyer feedback says they
do not fit the...

Front Crawl Technique Question - OK to "shrug" shoulder to reach further by
Steve Freides
I notice that, when I'm really reaching far in front of during front
crawl, I can get a little further reach if I "shrug" my shoulder but I'm
concerned this might be bad for my shoulder. I know from weight
training that keeping the shoulder down in the socket is important but,
given that this is...
