What's the surface you'll be putting it on?
Carpet? (what type?) Tile? Wood? That can make a difference in what will work for you. I have a treadmill on a mat I bought at the equipment store at the same time. The underlying surface is plush-ish carpet w/ padding underneath, on a concrete floor. I have an armcycle machine (Schwinn) on a mat I bought at the home store, pretty thin -- just something between the machine & the carpet. I don't know anything about the technical specs of either mat. bj "Paul W Jones" wrote in message ... I have a Nordictrack Elite XT treadmill on order, probably fairly heavy as those things go, and I was wondering if anyone would care to suggest what sort of Treadmill Mat to purchase to put under it? Seems to be a fair number of them out there, ranging from 0.2" to 3/8" thick, some open cell, closed cell, and solid vinyl. Brands from Ironman to Supermat to CAP to Apache to Treadmill Docter, etc. But I cannot seem to find too much in the way of reviews of the various ones, hard to tell what to buy. Thanks. |
